I succumbed and went ahead and did it... Have ordered a Christopher Reeve Superman from an authorised dealer in China on Ebay. This is the first time I have ever bought anything like this and certainly the most expensive non-electronic frivolous item I have ever got.

This would be perfect with a Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent head sculpt and a set of intrepid reporter's clothes....
