Symantec LiveUpdate not working?

Have you tried to run the Symantec liveupdate utility and found it to say there where no products installed? Even though you ran it from within the installed product?

The error message goes something like:
"LU1805: LiveUpdate was unable to find any products to Update"

I'm finding this in Backup Exec 2010 R2

The solution I found was to run this command from a command prompt in the backup exec directory, beupdateops.exe. After which a window pops up to say "Successfully registered Backup Exec with LiveUpdate and set the mode to OptOut."

Run LiveUpdate and all should be well.
