Saw "Paul" on Friday

Went to see the new Simon Pegg and Nick Frost film "Paul" last night.
It has to be the most nerdy, geeky film I have seen in my life. Utterly fantastic, one of the best films I have seen in years. Really funny, yet with a few tense and tender moments thrown in and a good twist at the end. So many different film references were thrown in I don't even think I got them all. One for the Blu-Ray collection when it comes out, just so I can count all the other film references they made.
One of the stand out scenes for me was where Simon and Nick go to a biker bar and as they enter, there is a band playing. It is the cantina music from the first Star Wars film. Hilarious.
If you are a Sci-Fi, nerdy, geeky type and you want to wear your badge with pride, go see "Paul", if you want to see a funny film, go see "Paul". In short, go see "Paul".
The only downside? It is unlikely we will get a sequel. After all, we never have had Shaun of the dead 2 or Hot Fuzz 2 have we?
